The Roots was born for the pure purpose of allowing one to express whatever they desire. It's called The Roots, inspired by the root of all our artistry and the undying need to harness and strengthen the ability for artistic expression in our growing community.
This year we have decided to carry out a mass live visual art expression. There are currently a few white wizards sitting around a table depicting how this script will unfold, if you're interested in exercising your talents on the live sphere along with other artists, then drop a line through the website... the wizards will mention they have been waiting for you.
Aside from the live project there will also be space available at the festival for artists of all calibre to showcase and sell their original pieces to the public.
With overwhelming talent in our community, and all of us living towards a foreseeable future, it is essential we harness these ever fashioned values of artistic expression and supply the platform for continual growth into the future.
We want people to inspire people, take your hands and express your thoughts, feelings, instincts and ability into a visual message for the people, whether you are a painter, sculptor, plumber, student, U/6 soccer player, mechanic or fighter pilot, The Roots has something to provide for us all.
