  • Please be aware of our number one rule - NO GLASS. This applies to every festival and event held at Dashville.

Broken glass does not breakdown over time and is the number one cause of injuries so please, DO NOT BRING ANY GLASS ONTO THE PROPERTY. If you want to bring a bottle of wine or spirits, please decant into a plastic or metal container.

    We appreciate your assistance.

  • For all stallholder, performing artist, sponsorship, or volunteer enquiries, please visit the contact page.

  • No pets are allowed at Dashville events. No, not even if your pet is the best behaved boy or girl on the planet.

  • We have a large block of private shower cubicles and flushing toilets to cater to the needs of all campers and there are always a sufficient number of portaloos within the arena and campgrounds.

  • Yes, we frequently have wheelchair-bound music lovers at our events. The arena gently undulates and is easy to navigate, especially now that we have put wheelchair friendly paths in around the festival site.

  • Phone reception for texting and calls is fine at Dashville. But, in regards to the internet on your phone, reception can be a little fussy. However, based on feedback from punters at previous events, internet reception is often available at Dashville.

  • No personal fires in the campground. Do not bring firewood. We are bound by State fire restrictions, and the campground and surrounding areas are very much dense bushland. We generally have communal fires inside the arena, which you are welcome to sit around until 3am... if that helps. Of course, this all depends on the weather conditions and current fire restrictions.

  • Yes, deckchairs and picnic blankets are allowed and encouraged.

  • Small generators are permitted but please be respectful of your fellow patrons in regards to noise. Switch off the genny when others are trying to sleep.

  • No. However, if you have a medical condition that requires powered equipment, please email us on mail@dashville.com.au and we will do our very best to have you connected to power.

  • Please understand, we have weathered the storm and no longer accept credit from the 2020/21 covid era.

If you have not used your credit by the expiry date, it is no longer valid

  • For BYO info, head to the Festival you’re interested in for details.

Please know and respect our biggest rule, GLASS IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. Please do not bring any form of glass into the festival. Basically this is the bush and broken glass does not breakdown, your one slip up can cause long term grief for not only children and animals, but perhaps even your own face.

  • The Gum Ball and Dashville Skyline festivals host a range of exciting workshops, performances and play facilities over the weekend. Please head to the relevant Festival for further info.

NB: We pride our festivals on being very family orientated, but please note you still need to supervise your young ones.

  • Our festivals embrace as much art and extracurricular activities as possible. Please head to the festival you are wishing to attend for further details.

We are excited to unleash even more fun. If you would like to get involved with our visual arts program, it's never too late until its over, send your enquiry through to mail@dashville.com.au

  • The campground is located directly outside and around the arena, so it’s a simple case of walking from your campsite through the gate and into the arena.

At worst case, this could be up to 200m if you're camped at the extremity of the campground. You are allowed to bring whatever camp set up that suits your group or person, though we ask that you consider not taking up too much space if it is not necessary.

Vans over 20ft need to be registered, to ensure suitable space is available - more detailed info can be found in the FAQs page of the festival you are interested in. If you have a large van, and would like to camp with non-large-van-pals we'll do our best to keep you together but can't guarantee this.

We also offer boutique style accomodation - in the form of GLAMPING - as an optional extra. For more info, PLEASE CLICK HERE.

  • You are allowed to bring gas bottles, but only if they are in service date (keeping in mind we have amazing food stalls including coffee, so you probably don't really need one). We will have to confiscate gas bottles at the gate that are not within their service date.

  • As our festivals are a celebration of music and culture, campers will inevitably throw on some tunes in their respective camp areas. We simply ask that you be respectful and kill the volume at a reasonable hour.

At midnight, when the festival’s music finishes, there should be no music played in the campground.

  • The campground is expansive but is at the mercy of the natural vegetation and at the last couple of festivals there has been some issues with caravans acquiring excessive space (which in turn eats into the space of those with a more humble set up).

You can still bring your caravan/camper but if it is over 20ft you will need to purchase a pass for it beforehand. These are limited in number to allow us to control the amount of caravans into the site and better facilitate space requirements for all.

More detailed info can be found on the FAQs page of the festival you are interested in.

  • If you want to camp with mates, we recommend arriving together or as closely together as possible. Reserving space can get tricky, as we have a lot of campers to fit in. It's definitely best to arrive when gates open to get the best spot.

  • Yes, most people park alongside their tent if there is room. But it's best to get to Dashville when gates open.

PLEAS NOTE: If a festival is sold out, this generally means that the campground will be at capacity, so if required, you will be asked to move your car to a secure car park area on the property so we can fit all campers in more comfortably. We appeciate your assistance if this is the case.
